Our restaurant AlpArosa is bringing the so-called ‘Hintere Hütte’ in the middle of the ski resort back to life. The former barns belonging to the civic community of Chur haven’t been used for anything in a while. That’s when the AlpArosa AG sprang into action and bought the three buildings from the civic community of Chur. Since the office for special planning had been interested in getting those charming barns as well, they were happy to see our concept and issued the construction permit. After that the extensive renovation work began, to turn the former barns into a small mountain restaurant. But since they made sure to keep the external changes at a minimum, the cottages’ historic charm is still intact. The restaurant is run by our catering business 1Xanders GmbH.
